Just north of Seahurst Park, Salmon Creek Ravine Park is a Burien city park consisting primarily of Western Red
Alder and Big Leaf Maple with an understory of Western Sword Fern, Oso Berry, and Trailing Blackberry. As typical
of the western coastal plain, there are also Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar, Western Hemlock, Pacific Madrone,
Thimbleberry, Snowberry, Salmonberry, Red Flowering Currant, Bearberry, Stinging Nettle, Trillium, Red Elderberry,
and various mosses.
